August means one thing around here: the first day of school is closer than it looks. Before you brave the big box stores, swing by Childish Things - we've spent all summer restocking so you can check off the list without the markup or the meltdown.

Whether you're hunting down the last clothing pieces, replacing a backpack that didn't survive summer camp, or just trying to get out the door with matching socks, we've got a little bit of everything:

In case you aren't aware or haven't been following us on Instagram - we LOVE Halloween at Childish Things (see examples here, here, here and here). Starting August 1st, we'll be accepting Halloween costumes! If your kiddo's outgrown last year's costume, bring it in (freshly washed, please) and give it a second life with another family.

Looking back: none of this happens without this community. In July, together with Mortenson Financial, we filled 100 backpacks with school supplies for Clothes for Kids, supporting students in the Snohomish School District - plus several more boxes of items donated straight from our customers. Thank you for showing up for these kids.
