What kind of items do you accept for resale?

We accept gently used, high-quality children's clothing, shoes, toys, books, and other items for babies and young kids. Everything we accept must be clean, in good condition, and appropriate for current seasons. We also take select maternity clothing and baby gear.

In order to stay up-to-date on child-regulated clothing and gear laws, we ask that all items be manufactured in the last 5 years. For up to date product recalls, see the Consumer Product Safety Commission CPSC.gov

How do I sell my items to Childish Things?

You can bring your items to our store during our buying hours, which are posted on our website. We evaluate items on the spot, and you’ll receive a cash offer or store credit for the items we choose to accept.

What is the condition requirement for items?

All items must be in gently used or like-new condition. Clothing should be free from stains, rips, fading, and excessive wear. Toys should be fully functional, clean, and include all necessary parts.

Do you offer consignment or just direct buying?

We primarily offer direct buying, where you get paid right away for your items. We occasionally accept items for consignment if they are high-value or unique, but this is determined on a case-by-case basis.

What ages of clothing do you carry?

We carry clothing for newborns up to size 10/12 in kids. We aim to provide a wide range of styles and sizes to meet the needs of growing families.

We also carry all sizes of maternity clothes.

How often does your inventory change?

Our inventory changes multiple times a day! Since we are a resale boutique, new items come in all the time. It’s always a great idea to check back often to see what's new.

Do you sell online or just in-store?

Currently, our focus is on in-store shopping so that customers can personally inspect items and enjoy the shopping experience. However, follow us on social media for updates—we may introduce online shopping options in the future! If you ever see something you need to have on our Instagram or Facebook page, send us a message or give us a call - we're happy to put it on a 24 hold, or you can pay over the phone.

How do you ensure the quality and safety of the items you sell?

We thoroughly inspect all items for cleanliness, safety, and quality before they are put on our sales floor.
